Good news - Puttering is good for you.
If you need an excuse, consider that.
Puttering is meant to be a series of random acts. Like a butterfly flitting from one flower to another, meander from room to room and see what calls to you. Just do whatever catches your eye at the moment and move around at random. Water a plant - tidy a drawer - clean out your wallet or your bag, rearrange the top of your dresser. It works indoors or out. It’s not the drudgery of housework or chores, it’s spontaneous
Small tasks are therapeutic and occupy the mind so you’re less inclined to worry. It’s proactive and useful which also calms the nervous system.
Don’t worry about being efficient or wasting time -
We usually putter in the morning - but again, there is no set time -
Just putter when you feel like it.
