Bye,bye Pill Pack

Anyone who has ever had to help a geriatric relative with their daily medications knows what a genius idea this is. Our local pharmacy had been sold to a chain with a revolving door of pharmacists- so that one on one connection was gone. Signing up and transferring prescriptions was the easy part. What we didn’t expect were the calls on 2 out of 3 deliveries that 1 out of 4 medications were out of stock. Kind of defeats the whole purpose, doesn’t it? They cheerfully send the partial shipment and urge you to find the missing medication elsewhere. Really? Not helpful. Where is the convenience in that? So much for never worry about missing a dose again …. Not up to usual Amazon standards. Fortunately the local chains now have their own pill pack version so we can move on.
