Culture in the Berkshires

Williamstown was our home base for an overnight visit. We stayed at the Williams Inn which made it easy to walk everywhere. We saw Estelle Parsons and Kyra Sedgewick in a performance at the Williams Theater Festival, visited the farmer's market, had ice cream, saw the Warhol by the Book exhibit and the Van Gogh exhibit at the very well attended Clark. The new addition is very nice, although the gift shop has shrunk considerably in size. On our way back we stopped in Stockbridge to see the Norman Rockwell Museum's exhibit of Roz Chast cartoons, which was terrific.
