When the temperatures start to drop and we can’t leave the windows open all day - We break out our essential oil supply to freshen our indoor air and fabrics. We tend to stick with three simple affordable options -Diffusers, Sprays and Felted Wool.

When it comes to essential oils - a little goes a long way - always dilute essential oils. If you have small children or pets, check the safety list below.

Essential oils are sold online, in drugstores and Natural Food Stores. Be sure to Check labels when making purchases as labeling can be confusing. Here’s what to remember. Essential oils are extracted from plants. Diffuser oils are essential oils mixed/diluted with carrier oils. Fragrance Oils are synthetic and made in a lab.

Felted Wool

Wool felt is a highly porous natural fiber, allowing air to pass through rather than around it. Because of this, wool felt can be used as an eco-friendly portable diffuser for your essential oils. Felted wool is available in many shapes and can be used as dryer valls in air vents, as coasters and hanging diffusers. We put them in drawers and suitcases instead of sachets. Add a few drops of essential oil directly onto the wool. - no dilution is necessary.
