Give Back Box

If you haven’t already heard of Give Back Box – I urge you to check out their web site. They have been helping me to recycle shipping cartons for the last four years. You go to the website – print out a UPS label- and fill your box with gentle used clothing items – including shoes- and household items – no electronics

A wonderful idea that came from the creative mind of Monika Wiela, a polish immigrant to the US who came up with the idea in 2012. Create an account and you can also receive a receipt for your taxes. Also available in the UK and Canada.

Now, she is collecting and shipping containers to her native Poland to help Ukranian refugees. You can send boxes of clothing, shoes and blankets, or make a financial donation to help with their cost of shipping containers or both

When you go the website – GiveBackBox.com – you can choose a free label or a paid label that will be directed to the charity of your choice. This week I chose the paid label to ship shoes and blankets to Poland for the Ukranian Refugees. Something, most of us can also do, to help.
