If you have to venture out, I am a longtime fan (pun intended ) of these fans from O2Cool – They use AA Batteries. – The Necklace Fan keeps a low profile and is easy to keep in your bag -The Spritzing ones are always popular with kids, especially at outdoor sporting events, – but now there is a smaller version that works just as well – You can find them on Amazon or at CVS.

The misting fans come in two sizes – the large one can hold ice cubes and keep a team cool – the smaller one is handy for when you just need a little personal refresher.

I am also like this misting bottle – It has an easy to sip spout – opens to hold ice cubes and a misting trigger. Take this one out to the ball game. Comes in a variety of colors as well as sports themed – No Batteries required. I like the kid size one-

If you have to go to church, a wedding or an outdoor ceremony – you might want to go old school with a silk folding fan. Not your grandmother’s travel souvenir – but these will do.
