This is our favorite time of year to revisit Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit was first published in 1902 and Peter Rabbit became the first fictional character to be made into a patented stuffed toy the following year.

Peter Rabbit books have been in the public domain since 2014 - 70 years after the death of Beatrix Potter.
