Rose of Sharon Buffet

It’s no secret that I like deer resistant shrubs that bloom with minimal care. This Hibiscus is a case in point. Everybody loves to feed on it. The hummingbirds, the butterflies, the dragonflies and the bees. I am not an adept enough photographer to ever produce an image of all the action this plant gets. It is outside our back porch. Once I open the screen door, everybody flies. It’s actually more like a scraggly tree these days and desperately needs to be pruned, but still happily blooms despite our neglect.
