Tomorrow marks the opening day of the 17 day Paris Summer Olympics. This is the third time Paris has hosted, the last time was in 1924. The Parade of Nations is said to be the largest in history and will float down the Seine instead of being in a stadium and will run for two hours beginning at 1:30 PM EST. 1978 World’s first "test tube" baby born

On July 25, 1978, Louise Joy Brown, the world’s first baby to be conceived via in-vitro fertilization (IVF) is born at Oldham and District General Hospital in Manchester, England, to parents Lesley and Peter Brown. The healthy baby was delivered shortly before midnight by caesarean section and weighed in at five pounds, 12 ounces.
