The Boston ballet is airing without charge on NBC and it’s affiliate stations.

The New York City ballet is streaming on Marquee TV
You can even make your own Nutcracker magic moment with The Grow & Stow tree that operates with a remote control
If you want more – don’t forget the 2009 Disney movie of The Nutcracker with Elle Fanning, Helen Mirren and Nathan Lane – streaming on multiple platforms platforms. As well as Debbie Allen‘s Hot Chocolate Nutcracker documentary on Netflix.
A highlight of my childhood was meeting Melissa Hayden, who was then dancing as the sugarplum fairy for the New York City ballet. She published a memoir and my father hosted the book launching party at our house, which happened to be on my birthday in 1963.
Thank you to all the adults who bought me a ticket to The Nutcracker for so many years.
