Winter Blooms Without Water
Wax Bulb Amaryllis
This first one takes some planning… I buy mine at Trader Joe’s as soon as they appear in the store- usually around Thanksgiving- and then I just set on a shelf and forget it.
You can also mail order from Holland Bulbs, right now they are on sale, and you can expect blooms in 4-8 weeks, so it’s not too late to try one:). Just search for wax on their website- link below.
Fresh Cuts
I use to travel with folding vases so I could pick up flowers for dreary hotel rooms. I still bring them along for ice, but now I have a new suitcase must have. Fresh Cuts
Sturdy Cardboard Bouquets that pop up and fold flat, they can brighten any space. A friend sent me one as the perfect house warming gift and I have been addicted ever since.
Part of their magic is that they only require 4 Forever Stamps to Mail. So easy to share, no waiting in line to mail, just pop in the mailbox and get ready for the “Wow!s” from your recipients
Right now I am buying their spring bouquets, cherry blossoms, daffodils, tulips, poppies, but in December they had amazing Christmas Trees and Wreaths as well.
They are very sturdy and easily reusable and store flat or in a bookshelf.
Trove Jigsaw Puzzle
250 piece wooden puzzle arrives in a glass apothecary jar with a felt flower on the lid. Add the puzzle pallet to frame and the pass it on pouch, to make it easier to share
